35th Annual Ribbon Show

35th Annual Ribbon Show

Last weekend I picked up my paintings from the Ribbon Show at the Armstrong Spallumcheen Art Gallery, and I left feeling incredibly grateful.

First of all, thank you to everyone involved in organizing this wonderful exhibition. It was beautifully curated, welcoming, and filled with outstanding artwork.

What touched me most was receiving the visitors’ comments along with the People’s Choice voting results for my paintings. Taking the time to read your thoughtful words was just as meaningful to me as receiving the awards themselves.

I was honoured to receive:

🏅 2nd Place – Portrait CategoryMidday Bliss (Watercolour, 56 × 76 cm)

🏅 1st Place – Semi-Representational Category

Mermaid (Watercolour, 56 × 76 cm)

❤️ People’s Choice Awards

• 2nd Place – Semi-Representational (Mermaid)

• 3rd Place – Representational (Shelter for the Soul, Oil, 60 × 90 cm)

This year I exhibited three paintings:

🎨 Midday Bliss – Watercolour

🎨 Mermaid – Watercolour

🎨 Shelter for the Soul – Oil

One of the greatest joys of this exhibition was that Midday Bliss found a new home. Knowing that a painting resonated with someone deeply enough to become part of their life is one of the greatest gifts an artist can receive.

Thank you to the organizers, the judges, everyone who visited the exhibition, everyone who voted, and everyone who took the time to leave such thoughtful comments. Your support, encouragement, and kindness inspire me to keep creating.

See you at the next exhibition! ❤️
